About us
Alatsssi was created from the desire to share Cretan gastronomy not only as food, but as a way of
life. Based in Crete and guided by olive oil, salt, and seasonal ingredients, we design experiences
that connect people, places, and stories.
Behind Alatsssi is a chef with many years of experience in Greece and abroad, combining deep
respect for tradition with a modern culinary perspective. Every dish, every table, and every product
has one purpose: to express the land with honesty.

Alatsssi was born from the way food has always been part of everyday life in Crete.
Not as a performance, but as a moment of connection.
Here, cooking starts with what the land gives: olive oil, salt, seasonal vegetables, herbs, fish and meat raised with care. It continues around a table, where time slows down and food is meant to be shared.
I believe that meaningful food doesn’t need to be complicated.
It needs honest ingredients, respect for those who produce them, and space for people to enjoy the moment.
